World Wrestling Entertainment is shortening its roster once again as a number of WWE releases were announced today, mostly from their emerging NXT brand.

The most famous title of this stretch of WWE releases has been confirmed Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful this is Dakota Kai, who was a mainstay of the NXT Women’s Division. Kai was one half of the inaugural NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Gonzalez after winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Women’s Tag Team Tournament. Kai joined the company in 2016. The 33-year-old is originally from New Zealand and has performed on the independent stage under the name Evie.

The second freed wrestler is manager Malcolm Bivens, who previously led the Diamond Mine faction. According to Sapp, Bivens turned down a new deal in February to stay with the company.
