Paramount+ confirmed that Superman and Lois star Tyler Hoechlin has completed talks to return as Derek Hale in the upcoming Teen Wolf Movie. In the MTV original series, Derek was introduced as Scott Tyler Posey’s mentor. However, Derek’s immoral choice as Alpha causes his relationship with Scott to become strained. Despite this, he continues to serve as Scott’s ally in later seasons.

Hoechlin will join returning cast members Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelly, Melissa Ponzio, Ian Boen, Vince Mattis, Noby Nakanishi, Haileen Rambeau, Amy Workman. and Dylan Sprayberry. The only ones left out of the movie are fan favorites Dylan O’Brien and Arden Cho.
Teen Wolf Movie hails from series creator Jeff Davis, MTV Entertainment Studios and MGM Orion Television. It should debut sometime this year.
