peacock dropped Girls5eva Trailer for the second season of the hit musical comedy series’ upcoming return. The series is set to return on Thursday, May 5th.
The video below shows the resurrected girl group finally getting to work on their comeback album. He highlights their hectic recording process as well as the band’s efforts to attract listeners.

«The one-hit girl group from the ’90s who went through the pop music machine reunites to give their dreams another chance,» reads the synopsis. «This time they will try again on their own terms.»
Girls5eva led by Sarah Bareilles as Don, René Elise Goldsberry as Vicki, Busy Phillips as Summer and Paula Pell as Gloria. It also features Daniel Breaker, Jonathan Hadary and Ashley Park.

Girls5eva created and executive produced by Meredith Scardino (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). The executive producers are nine-time Emmy winner Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, David Miner and Eric Gurian. It is a co-production between Little Stranger, Bevel Gears, 3 Arts and Universal Television.
