After a delay due to a hack Toei Animation new Dragon Ball Super: Superhero the release date was announced this summer along with a new trailer showcasing the action of the upcoming film.

New Dragon Ball Super: Superhero The release date is June 11, 2022, so Japanese fans won’t have to wait long. It was originally set for April 22, 2022, with an international release scheduled for summer 2022. New international release dates have yet to be set, but it is still potentially possible this summer with this new date.

Anime adaptation Dragon Ball Super ended in March 2018 after 131 episodes aired. This is the second film for Dragon Ball Superwhich is a very successful continuation of the series Dragon Ball Z. The first film was Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which was directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and written by Akira Toriyama. The film takes place after the events of the universe survival saga and Goku and Vegeta fight Broly.
