E3 is dead (at least this year), but Geoff Keighley guarantees that there will be some kind of centralized event in the summer with a bunch of gaming news and reveals. And he has finally announced the date for what will likely be the biggest part of his event, Summer Game Fest Live. This live stream will premiere on Thursday, June 9th at 11:00 AM PT.

With promising premieres and news galore, the show will also air live in IMAX theaters in the US, Canada and the UK. However, given the time difference, it might be a bit late for UK residents.
