Cast for the upcoming twisted metal the series just got a second lead actor. Stephanie Beatriz, best known for her role as Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn 99is about to join a show based on the video game franchise.
Beatrice plays a character named Quiet, who is «a ferocious, badass car thief who acts purely on instinct.» Her description also states that she came from a community that «silenced her», but it remains to be seen (or rather heard) how much she will speak in the series. Despite this, she forms an «unlikely antagonistic bond» with Anthony Mackie’s John Doe as she tries to find her place in the world.

Like John Doe, Silent is a new creation of action comedy that will hit Peacock at some unspecified time in the future. It is based on the concept from Dead Pool screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who will serve as executive producers. It will be written Cobra Kai scribe Michael Jonathan Smith, who will also perform as an EP. Other executive producers include Hermen Hulst of PlayStation Studios, Kizilbash and Carter Swan of PlayStation Productions, Jason Spire of Inspire Entertainment, Will Arnett and Mark Foreman of Electric Avenue, and Peter Principato of Artists First. bad tripKitao Sakurai is also set to executive produce and direct several episodes.

Sony is also reportedly developing twisted metal a game that should probably come out around the same time as the show. After the game was shuffled around a bit, the title in question is said to come from Firesprite, which Sony recently acquired in September 2021. However, this has not yet been officially announced.
twisted metal is also another Sony video game franchise making the leap to another medium. There is Ghost of Tsushima a film in the works and an HBO series based on The last of usboth of which come much later than February unexplored movie.
