In accordance with DiversityGolden Globe nominee Joseph Gordon-Levitt has officially signed Natasha Lyonne to star in Peacock’s upcoming detective drama titled Poker Facecreated by Oscar nominee Rian Johnson. As the second actor announced, further details about his character are still being kept under wraps, including the number of episodes he is set to appear in.

The 10-episode series is created, written and directed by Johnson, with Nora and Lilla Zuckerman attached as executive producers and co-showrunners. Sources of the publication note that Poker Face will be told in a procedural format, with Lyonne’s character investigating a different murder case in each episode.
It is executive produced by Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue for T-Street Productions along with Natasha Lyonne, Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew through their Animal Pictures banner. This is an MRC Television production.

This marks Gordon-Levitt’s final collaboration with Star Wars: The Last Jedi director after collaborating on the 2005 film Brick and a 2012 sci-fi thriller Looper. He is currently starring in the Showtime anthology drama series. Super Pumped: Battle for Uberwhich has already been renewed for a second season.
