Another South Park a made-for-television movie is on its way, as South Park: Stream Wars Coming exclusively to Paramount+ this spring.

The latest made-for-TV film will be the third of 14 films Trey Parker and Matt Stone agreed to make for the streamer when they signed a massive $900 million deal with ViacomCBS last year, with the first two films being – South Park: Post-Covid and South Park: Post-Covid: The Return of Covid – launch in 2021. The fourth film for television will premiere this summer.

«Cartman clashes with his mom in a battle of desires as an epic conflict unfolds that threatens the very existence of South Park,» reads the official synopsis for the upcoming film. Along with films made for television, South Park also continues to air on television as the series’ 25th season recently concluded earlier this year after six episodes aired on Comedy Central.
South Park follows a group of rebellious Colorado kids, Cartman, Kenny, Stan and Kyle, along with their outrageous and colorful city, through all their foul-mouthed adventures, never shying away from controversial social and political topics.
South Park was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series is executive produced by Parker, Stone, Ann Garefino and Frank K. Agnon II. Eric Stoph, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers.
In August 2021, it was announced that Stone and Parker had signed a new $900 million deal with ViacomCBS through 2027, which included a multi-season renewal of an animated comedy series on Comedy Central as well as 14 original South Park hour-long films for Paramount+.

The series launched on August 13, 1997 and is based on an animated short called «The Spirit of Christmas» released on VHS.
