Assassin’s Creed Valhalla recently got the biggest expansion in the series with March’s Dawn of Ragnarok. But Ubisoft didn’t finish updating the game as the trophy list revealed new skill challenges.

Ubisoft hasn’t officially spoken about Assassin’s Creed Valhallathe future or any similar challenges of skill, but trophies for the PlayStation 4 version of the game revealed these new quests prematurely. The update (which is apparently called The Reckoning) brings one trophy called the Complete Master, which rewards players with a bronze trophy for earning gold medals in Mastery Trials. It’s unclear if this will unlock after earning gold medals in every Mastery Challenge or just this set of new ones.
Another set of skill challenges was already mentioned in the game’s trophy list, as the original skill challenge set was eventually updated with «Part 1», which meant there would be more parts. It also probably won’t be the last update, as the Tombs of the Fallen game update stopped at a thrilling moment. And while the game is likely to see more small updates in the future, the chances of another major expansion seem slim considering Assassin’s Creed Infinity and rumors of a smaller, secretive Assassin’s Creed which is reportedly on the way.

Mastery Challenges were added for free in June 2021. These new missions tested stealth, combat, bow and arrow skills in various ways and evaluated their results.
