The film, which stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, was originally supposed to hit theaters in 2020 but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After setting a release date in 2021, the film was pushed back to August 12, 2022. However, now that Netflix has acquired the rights to the film, the feature will now launch exclusively on their streaming service later this year.
Hart and Harrelson are joined in the film by Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Matthews, Ellen Barkin, Lela Lauren, Pearson Fode and Gencarlos Canela.
The man from Toronto uses a case of mistaken identity as the movie’s starting point after the world’s deadliest killer known as the Toronto Man (Harrelson) is mistaken for a New York City (Hart) misfit in an Airbnb rental. Patrick HughesHitman’s bodyguard, red hill) will direct the function.
