Marvel Studios unveiled another Ms. Marvel A TV spot for the upcoming Disney+ series starring newcomer Iman Vellani. The premiere is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8th.
The video, which you can watch below, contains plenty of new footage showing the start of Kamala Khan’s superhero journey as she discovers it’s not as fabulous and heroic as she originally thought.

Ms. Marvel newcomer star Iman Vellani in her acting debut as Kamala Khan, which also marks the live-action debut of the fan-favorite Marvel character. Vellani was joined by Aramis Knight, Saagar Sheikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapoor, Matt Linz, Yasmine Fletcher, Leith Naki, Azher Usman, Traveena Springer and Nimra Bucha.
«The series introduces Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from Jersey City,» reads the official synopsis. “An aspiring artist, avid gamer and voracious fanfiction writer, she is a big fan of The Avengers, and especially Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world – that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she always looked up to.»

Ms. Marvel It is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah, Mira Menon and Sharmeen Obeid-Chinoy, with executive producer Bisha K. Ali serving as the head writer.
Following the series, the teenage hero Vellani will appear in Nia DaCosta’s sequel to Captain Marvel titled Wonders starring Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris, which is currently due out on February 17, 2023.
