Some new images for the highly anticipated upcoming Disney+ series. Ms. Marvel were released featuring Kamala Khan showing off her powers, the world of superhero fans, and more.

The new images are taken from recent coverage of the series Empire and show actress Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan in various locations, including what appears to be floating in the sky and ready to unleash some of her powers. In another image, Khan appears to be putting on some kind of show, fully dressed in a Captain Marvel cosplay, while the people behind her are also wearing various Captain Marvel-themed costumes.

Ms. Marvel newcomer star Iman Vellani in her acting debut as Kamala Khan, which also marks the live debut of the fan-favorite Marvel character. Vellani was joined by Aramis Knight, Saagar Sheikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapoor, Matt Linz, Yasmine Fletcher, Leith Naki, Azher Usman, Traveena Springer and Nimra Bucha.
«The series introduces Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from Jersey City,» reads the official synopsis. “An aspiring artist, avid gamer and voracious fanfiction writer, she is a big fan of The Avengers, and especially Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world – that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she always looked up to.»

Ms. Marvel It is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah, Mira Menon and Sharmeen Obeid-Chinoy, with executive producer Bisha K. Ali serving as the head writer.
Following the series, the teenage hero Vellani will appear in Nia DaCosta’s sequel to Captain Marvel titled Wonders starring Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris, which is currently due for release on July 28, 2023.
