Last year’s Disney+ series. Loki finally confirmed that Tom Hiddleston’s character, like several variations of his comic book counterpart, was bisexual. In a recent interview with The keeperHiddleston talked about the moment and said more could be done.

“I was honored to be asked,” Hiddleston said of what it was like to be asked to return as Loki in the Disney+ series. “We all wanted to keep the integrity of the character – I wanted to make sure we didn’t lose parts that people loved by doing something new. I also hope that Loki’s bisexual recognition meant a lot to the people who noticed it. It was a small step, and there is much more to come. But it was definitely important to all of us.»
While Loki’s sexuality has never been a major sticking point in the series, the brief mention of it has excited fans who continue to hope for a greater representation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is unknown if there will be an upcoming second season Loki will continue to delve into this aspect of the character, but as Hiddleston and others have acknowledged, the small step they took in recognizing his bisexuality also made a big difference.
