In accordance with Diversity, blue bay Director Justin Chong has found his next project with Apple TV+. This comes in hot pursuit of an epic global drama Pachinkowhich just recently debuted. Jung has officially signed on to helm and executive produce the first two episodes of an upcoming historical drama titled war chiefstarring Jason Momoa.

war chief will be co-written and executive produced by Momoa and Thomas Paa Sibbett, with Doug Jung attached as showrunner. The epic story follows the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous perspective. This marks Momoa’s latest collaboration with Apple TV+ since the sci-fi drama. Seewhich has already been renewed for a third season.
The series will be executive produced by Jung, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Eric Holmberg. It is produced by Endeavor Content and Chernin Entertainment.

Momoa will next be seen in a number of high-profile projects, including the highly anticipated Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, where he will once again play a DC superhero.
