Emmy nominee Idris Elba has officially signed on to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller drama titled Stealwho comes from Lupine Created by George Kay. Elba will play a successful business negotiator named Sam Nelson who must use his persuasion skills to save people on a hijacked plane.

Steal written and executive produced by George Kay, with Jim Field Smith serving as executive producer. In addition to starring, Elba is also an executive producer through her Green Door Pictures banner under her first Apple TV+ deal.
«Told in real time, the series is a tense thriller following the journey of a hijacked plane bound for London on a seven-hour flight as authorities on the ground scramble to find answers,» the synopsis reads. «It will center around Sam Nelson, a seasoned business negotiator who needs to step up and use all his cunning to try and save the lives of passengers, but his risky strategy could be his undoing.»

Steal Smith, Jamie Lawrenson, Hakan Cosetta and Chris Tikyer are executive producers. It is produced by 60Forty Films and Idiotlamp Productions in association with Green Door.
