In a recent speech at the Imperial Congress of Collectors Commissioners, star Wars veteran Ian McDiarmid spoke about his future in the popular sci-fi franchise following his 2019 return in Rise of Skywalker. He teases that fans should expect to see Emperor Palpatine again in the upcoming Disney+ series.
«There’s going to be a certain show coming up around the time that I might have thought was very active,» McDiarmid said (via Star Wars News). “Whether you see my physical body or not, I cannot comment. But you will definitely feel my presence.”

Currently only two are planned. star Wars a prequel series that could potentially feature McDiarmid’s «Emperor Palpatine» this year. It includes Obi-Wan Kenobi the series, which will debut on May 27 this year; and Andor series that will premiere this year.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will see the return of Ewan McGregor in star Wars universe as he reprises his iconic role as the titular Jedi Master, which he famously portrayed in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy. It also shows the return of a comrade star Wars alumni Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars.
