HBO showed several character posters and a trailer for the upcoming series. Game of Thrones prequel series Dragon House. The highly anticipated HBO Max series will premiere on August 21 and will consist of ten episodes.

Adapted from George R.R. Martin. Fire and blood, Dragon House tells the story of the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only dragonlord family to survive the Fall of Valyria. The events take place 300 years before the events of the award-winning film adaptation of the series. Game of Thrones the last episode of which aired almost two years ago.
The 10-episode series will be helmed by Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. It will also feature Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eva Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Millie Alcock, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spox, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah. Stein and Theo Neith.

Dragon House hails from George R. R. Martin, Ryan Kondal and Game of Thrones directed by Miguel Sapochnik, while Kondal and Sapochnik will also serve as showrunners. There are executive producers. Executive Producers: Martin, Sapochnik, Kondal, Vince Gerardis and Sarah Lee Hess.
