Obi-Wan Kenobi star Hayden Christensen spoke about his long-awaited return to star Wars universe, telling how he had fun exploring the «mindset and emotional state» of a character as complex as Darth Vader.

“Towards the end, he is knighted as Darth Vader, and in a couple of scenes I put on a suit. But my journey with the character was with Anakin Skywalker,» Christensen said. Total Film. “But character? He’s such a complex character. And now exploring Darth Vader’s mindset and emotional state was a lot of fun.»
The actor also teased that we might see more of him as Darth Vader in the future.
“The scale of this journey, I think, remains to be seen,” Christensen teased. «But what a privilege to be back and do this and be a part of this project.»

Obi-Wan Kenobi sees Ewan McGregor return to the Star Wars universe as he reprises his iconic role as the titular Jedi Master he famously portrayed in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy.
