New behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the long-delayed Marvel Studios film. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 profit online (via Just Jared) featuring Chris Pratt and Karen Gillan. The film is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2023, six years after the sequel’s release.
The photos below show Pratt’s Peter Quill and Gillan’s Nebula in comic book-inspired costumes.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 again written and directed by James Gunn. It features the return of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldanha, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as they reprise their roles as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Kraglin, Nebula, Mantis. Rocket and Groot.
They are joined by MCU newcomers Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji, with Poulter confirmed to play the role of Adam Warlock. Before Space Team returns to the big screen, their Disney+ holiday special is expected to release later this year.

The titled team was last seen in 2019. Avengers: Endgame where they were joined by Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in the final moments of the film. Because of this, some of guardians of the galaxy stars including Pratt, Bautista and Gillan are set to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
