Ghost of Tsushima the movie has gone silent since then. Joh Wick Director Chad Stahelski was chosen to lead the project. However, a new report says that the movie based on the video game has found its author: Takashi Doshera.
Deadlines latest report revealing Doscher’s involvement, it also states that the project is still in early development and does not have a release window. Dosher has written and directed several films and his latest release was Only, a sci-fi romance film starring Leslie Odom Jr. that was widely panned. He also wrote and directed Stilldrama released in 2018. Dosher was the youngest filmmaker to sell his documentary to ESPN called Fighting Chance at the age of 22.

Stahelski, Alex Young and Jason Spitz will produce the film through 87Eleven Entertainment. Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan of PlayStation Productions will serve as producers. Sucker Punch, the game’s developer, will serve as an executive producer.
Ghost of Tsushima is another way Sony is adapting its video game intellectual property to other mediums. Other examples include the upcoming The last of us HBO Series, Peacock twisted metal show, as well as the recently released unknown movie.
