Dungeons & Dragons Title Unveiled for Chris Pine-Led Film Adaptation

Paramount Pictures finally confirmed the official Dungeons and Dragons title for the upcoming film adaptation of the popular board game from Hasbro. Chris Pine’s adventure film, which will debut in theaters on March 3, 2023, is now officially titled Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Its current release date means the film has no direct competition. However, it will still debut the same month as four other high-profile projects like Disney. haunted mansionWarner Bros Pictures Aquaman and the Lost KingdomKeanu Reeves’ John Wick Chapter 4and Paramount Scream 6.

The film will be helmed by Chris PineWonder Woman 1984), Michelle Rodriguez (F9), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Hugh grant (Four weddings and one funeral), Sophia Lillis (This is movies), Chloe Coleman (my spy), and Bridgerton breakthrough Rare-Jean Page.

Role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons first became popular in 1974 and has since garnered millions of players and fans around the world. The hugely popular property has also influenced numerous writers, filmmakers, game designers, and other creative professionals throughout its four decades of existence.

Dungeons and Dragons The film is co-produced and financed by Hasbro, eOne and Paramount Pictures. eOne handles distribution in the UK and Canada, while Paramount handles distribution everywhere. It is also being produced by Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Jeremy Latcham as part of his deal with eOne, Hasbro’s entertainment arm.

This marks the fourth time the popular game has been adapted for the big screen, following the 2000 live-action version of Courtney Solomon and the 2005 TV movie sequel. Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God and a 2012 straight-to-DVD sequel Dungeons & Dragons: Book of Vile Darkness.
