We haven’t heard much about 2020, but we’ve finally got our first look at enchanted continuation. Amy Adams will reprise her role as Giselle, while Maya Rudolph will make her debut as a new villain on the show. Everything was finally revealed during the recent Disney+ presentation and fans weren’t disappointed. You can see the first image from the movie titled Disappointedabove.
The official plot synopsis is as follows:
Ten years after her long and happy life, Giselle (Adams), Robert (Dempsey), and Morgan (Gabriella Baldacchino) move into a new home in a suburb of Monroeville. The community is overseen by Malvina Monroe (Rudolf), who has nefarious intentions for the family. When problems arise, Gisele wishes for their lives to be the perfect fairy tale. The spell backfires: Giselle rushes to save her family and her homeland in the kingdom of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight.»
It’s hard to imagine Maya Rudolph as an antagonist, but at the same time, she definitely has the ability to do so. Since then SNLshe’s really started to carve out a niche for herself in film, and she’s always welcome in anything she appears in.
Much of the original enchanted were its musical numbers, and for that reason the same composer, Alan Menken, would return to create the sequel’s soundtrack. Director Rock forever and bedtime stories, Adam Shankman will also be in the director’s chair for this recording. that’s part of the reason he won’t lend a hand Hocus pocus 2Another sequel to the Disney classic.
For some reason, the sequel had a slightly hectic history. The original plan was to release the film as soon as possible. Apparently this was due to issues with the scripts, which were eventually dropped. On Disney Investor Day 2020, we first heard news of a sequel. Disappointed will be available to stream starting this year’s Thanksgiving on Disney+.
