In accordance with Term, Legion star Dan Stevens has officially signed on to star in the upcoming 2021 Legendary sequel. godzilla vs kong which is expected to start production this summer in Australia.
The untitled high-profile project marks the reunion of Stevens and director Adam Wingard after they previously worked together in Guest. His casting also came after Wingard recently teased a potential sequel to the 2014 thriller, following a big fan reaction to his April Fool’s joke.

The upcoming fifth installment of the blockbuster franchise will bring $79.2 million in economic growth to Queensland, as well as create 505 local cast and crew jobs and opportunities for 750 extras.
Further details about the project are still being kept under wraps, but initial reports last year suggested it would potentially be called Son of Kong. It is unclear if Adam Wingard will return as its director or not. Eric McLeod will once again be the producer of the project.

The 2021 film was directed by Wingard from a screenplay written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein. It starred Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and others. Despite its simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max debut, it still earned over $460 million at the worldwide box office.
