Dwayne Johnson accepted Instagram to confirm that he is currently back on set filming Black Adam reshoots for the highly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures about superheroes. This comes almost a year after principal photography wrapped on the DC movie.

Black Adam introduces Dwayne Johnson as Teth-Adam, or the titular antihero, whose backstory was first teased in 2019. Shazam! This is the character’s live-action debut after only appearing in animated shows and movies such as Young Judge.
Johnson is joined by Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman. Other cast members include Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Kusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongi, Mo Amer and Uli Latukefu in unnamed roles.

Based on the DC comics character created by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck, film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Shallow water, Jungle cruise) from a screenplay written by Rory Haynes and Sohrab Noshiryani. It is produced by Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions and Bo Flynn of FlynnPicturesCo, with Scott Sheldon curating the project for FlynnPictureCo.
