ArcageddonIllfonic’s co-op online roguelite shooter has been in Early Access for some time now on PC and PlayStation 5. Not only is it about to exit the pre-release program, it’s also about to arrive on new platforms. Arcageddon releases on July 5 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PS4, and ends early access on PS5 and PC on the same day. While the game is currently $19.99 in Early Access on PS5 and PC, the Launch Edition will be $29.99 across all platforms.

It will have cross-play between all platforms, which is what Illfonic is planning for soon. Ghostbusters there will be a game too. IllFonic CEO Charles Brungardt said that Illfonic opted for early access due to the pandemic as the team wanted the feedback it received. Brungardt also said that the amount of content has likely doubled since it hit Early Access. Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen chimed in, saying that early access also helped the studio do what it wanted to do, which was a little more difficult given the game’s uniqueness. Brungardt then stated that there will be 11 gang leaders, six biomes, four bosses, and 37 weapons at launch, as well as a ton of enemies and costumes.
