Liz Sheridan has died at the age of 93. According to Sheridan’s representativethe actress passed away this morning in her sleep of natural causes just five days after celebrating her birthday.

Although Sheridan began her entertainment career as a Broadway dancer, she became best known for her roles in several comedies. She played the unforgettable neighbor Ms. Ochmonek in Alf and then became a staple Seinfeld when she played Jerry’s mother. Sheridan will appear in 24 episodes Alf and 21 episodes Seinfeldwhich made her the main character of television.

In her later career, Sheridan starred in the 2010 romantic comedy film. Play a game along with Andy Griffith and Doris Roberts. She also starred in the documentary Last laugh in 2016, which examined whether jokes about the Holocaust could be funny. She also voiced the character on American dad! (Mrs Rothberg) in 2007.

Sheridan was married to writer Dale Wales, whom she began dating in 1960, from 1985 until his death in 2003. The two of them have a daughter who survived the couple.
