AEW Fight Forever Roster Confirms 2 Wrestlers for Video Game

All Elite Wrestling has added a couple of Dynamite talents to their roster for AEW Fight Forever, the company’s upcoming video game debut. The game, due for release this year, is in development thanks to former WWE game developers Yuka. This week’s broadcast confirmed the game’s name rumors and revealed two playable members that fans are familiar with. As AEW wrestler confirmed Evil Uno during the AEW Games stream on Twitch both Chris Statlander and Nyla Rose will be available when Fight forever hits later in the year.

Statlander and Rose join former AEW Champion Kenny Omega, jungle boy, Darby Allinand former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida in the list as shown so far. Both new members received short videos showcasing their game models and their entrances. Statlander has been featured in the game, portraying her alien character, which has recently received less attention on AEW television. This is a common problem with most wrestling games, but it’s interesting to see it crop up in a brand new franchise. In any case, there is hope that her new gimmick can be integrated through the character creator or even a DLC add-on.

The Twitch announcement also revealed that the game would be released on PC at the same time as the release on Xbox and PlayStation. This is nothing new for Yuka, who has submitted several WWE games to Steam over the past decade. However, it’s good to hear that players can AEW Fight Forever on every current generation platform except Nintendo Switch. It’s still unknown exactly when AEW’s big gaming debut will take place in 2022, but this update brings fans closer to playing the matches of their own dreams.
